ABOUT RONITA

Ronita began her real estate career as Luis Ortiz's "right hand", quickly evolving into a dynamic partnership. Going back to the early years when the duo were on four straight seasons of Million Dollar Listing New York, they have grown to establish a successful professional union that allows them to excel at catering to buyers, sellers, and investors across Manhattan. 

Ronita's energy and passion are reflected in her work as she thrives on being well organized and responsive to ensure her clients' success. Ronita recognizes that superior customer service is critical for building lasting relationships in an industry where rapport and trust are everything. Her morals and ethics are based on honesty and loyalty, principles she upholds in every area of her life. 

A born and bred New Yorker, Ronita attended Rutgers University where she majored in Economics and played club volleyball for  four years before embarking on a career in finance at Merrill Lynch working with a team of financial advisors in wealth management. Prior to joining Douglas Elliman, Ronita also sold financial market and country risk research to financial institutions and government agencies. She then moved on to Apple where she was responsible for large business sales. Working for both a start-up and Fortune 100 company instilled in Ronita the dedication to always go the extra mile for every customer. 

A first-generation Indian American fluent in Hindi, Ronita was raised by entrepreneurial parents and spent much of her childhood in her father's showroom on Fashion Avenue in New York City. From a young age, she developed the penchant for hard work and a keen eye for detail that she utilizes in her work today. Ronita has lived in New York City for nine years and currently resides with her husband and daughter on the Upper East Side
